All About Chris O’Leary The Musician
Born in the U.K. as a young Musician and Singer raised in Swindon, Wiltshire by my musical father and very supportive mother.
I appeared on BBC TV for 7 days, the BBC website for over a month and went live on BBC radio performing with Sonna Rele (of Sony/R.C.A.) as a session guitarist in 2010 on many festivals across the country including the Leicester and London O2 Mela.

About My Early Musical Career
I started playing the guitar at the age of 4 and first performed on stage with my father Liam O’Leary at the age of 6. After Guitar, I picked up the Bass, Drums, Piano, Banjo, Fiddle, Singing and Mandolin along the way as can be seen and heard on several commercial tracks with me overdubbing with multiple instruments.
After school, I studied my A-Levels in Music, Music Technology, Media and Computing at the New College in Swindon. Whilst there I achieved 100% in all performance exams, earned the “Musician of the Year” award, the highest ever level achieved on a media film production and also the “Modern Musician” award in my 2nd year there.
After college, which all lead to the next career move of University, I studied and earned a B.A. Honours Degree in “Contemporary Music and Performance” at the highly acclaimed The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and met many important people and connections in my life there.
After I attended University at The ACM I moved to Epsom in 2004 where I refined my skills and gained a following and maintained many successful auditions. After more recording sessions in London, I moved to Cambridge to play in a Rock band called The Treatment (Previously God Sacks Man), their first E.P. did very well commercially, achieving many interviews on the radio (Star FM) and great reviews in magazines such as Classic Rock Magazine.
Now currently touring with The Chip Shop Boys from Cheltenham and I am enjoying it to the full. This band is full of so much energy and guaranteed to put a smile on anyone’s face!
Major Label Success
I was then signed to a publishing deal with Eyes Wide Open, a British Pop-Rock inspired act created around one of the original members and songwriter of Busted, Ki Fitzgerald in 2008. Whilst with Eyes Wide Open, I recorded at Metropolis Studios, London creating a cover version of Maria by Blondie and an originals track produced by Bryan Adam’s Producer Rick Baraclough. The band performed at many notable venues including the London Hard Rock Cafe and Turnmills, London. Eyes Wide Open created a lot of interest in the media.
I was signed to a record, management and production deal with God Sacks Man (now called The Treatment) in 2009 to Cambridge based Magic Hat Records, and Full Circle Productions ran by Laurie Mansworth of bands Airace, and More.
Performed and sung on cruises for the large P & O ships across the World as Lead Male Entertainer.
I co-wrote, sang and played the guitar for the Swindon Town Football Club anthem which was played live at the Wembley stadium when Swindon played in the cup final match of the season, 2010.
Appearing on the front cover of Wiltshire music magazine Knight Out with a very positive review on the front cover, “O’Leary has helped out the local music scene a lot”.

Guitar lessons taught at schools and college and drum lessons at university and private 1-to-1 lessons in my studio or virtual online music lessons via video chat such as skype, facetime, Facebook messenger, zoom or WhatsApp video.
